内容紹介
弘前大学は、原子力関連施設を擁する地域的な背景を踏まえ、東日本大震災前の平成20年度から、被ばく医療体制の整備及び被ばく医療に関わる教育・研究ならびに人材育成に取組み、これまで多くの成果をあげてきました。震災後の原発事故対応では避難所での支援活動や様々な学術調査など社会貢献につながり、こうした被ばく医療への取組は弘前大学の意欲的かつ特色ある取組みの一つとなっております。
また平成30年度には、平成27 年に原子力規制委員会から原子力災害医療に対応する施設として「高度被ばく医療支援センター」及び「原子力災害医療・総合支援センター」の指定のもと3年間活動し、年度末に指定更新を受け、引き続き両センター活動を継続する事となりました。
こうした弘前大学の被ばく医療に関する活動の情報発信の一環として、平成24年3月にRadiation Emergency Medicineを刊行し、第5巻1号からより広い分野からの投稿に対応する目的で、誌名をRadiation Environment and Medicineに改めました。
第8巻2号には、放射線計測、放射線治療、放射線生物学、被ばく医療教育、放射線リスクコミュニケーション等12報の論文が掲載されております。
今後も、放射線防護、線量評価、生物影響、放射線計測、被ばく医療教育、放射化学分析、放射線看護、疫学調査や臨床研究など放射線科学の幅広い分野にわたる論文を掲載していく予定です。
