内容紹介
弘前大学は、さまざまな原子力関連施設が立地する青森県における唯一の総合大学として、万が一の事態に際して地域の安心・安全を確保するため、被ばく医療に関連する取組みを推進してきました。平成22年度から平成27年度まで、「被ばく医療プロフェッショナル育成計画」を青森県との連携・協力事業として実施し、この事業の一環として、緊急被ばく医療に関連する研究成果の共有および情報発信を目的に、平成24年3月に被ばく医療に関する学術誌Radiation Emergency Medicine を発刊しました。本誌は、世界に発信しグローバルなつながりの中で研究を深めていくために、英文での発行としました。
この度、第5巻1号から、より広い分野からの投稿に対応する目的で、誌名をRadiation Environment and Medicineに改めました。
第5巻1号には、放射線計測・線量評価・放射線管理等の領域における論文に加えて、鹿児島大学大学院医歯学総合研究科の秋葉澄伯先生、University College DublinのJames Mc Laughlin 先生、アメリカ合衆国デカルブメディカルセンターのMie Suzuki-Fowler先生、東京医療保健大学の草間朋子先生による特別寄稿、平成27年5月に弘前市で開催された2nd Educational Symposium on Radiation and Health by Young Scientists (ESRAH2015) の報告が掲載されています。
今後も、疫学調査、生物影響、線量評価、被ばく医療教育、放射化学分析、放射線看護、放射線計測、放射線防護、臨床研究など放射線科学の幅広い分野にわたる論文を掲載していく予定です。
